Outlook Express E-Mail Setup

1. Open Outlook Express.

2. Choose Tools: Accounts.

3. Choose Add: Mail. This will start the add mail wizard.

4. Enter your name the way you would like people to see it when you send them e-mail.

5. Enter your e-mail address (something like you@yourdomain.com). Click Next.

6. Enter your mail server (something like mail.yourdomain.com). Click Next.

7. Enter your account name; this should be the same as your full e-mail address (something like you@yourdomain.com). Click Next.

8. Click Finish. You are not finished.

9. Select the Mail tab. Select the account you just created. Choose Properties.

10. Click the Servers Tab. Click my server requires authentication. Click OK. Click OK.

11. Send e-mail to all your friends celebrating your new success.

If you cannot send e-mail, recheck your settings. Some internet service providers block SMTP Port 25 and you will have to send e-mail through their outgoing e-mail server. We have set up an alternative port to work around this block, please inquire for details. Known ISPs blocking port 25: MSN, Earthlink, and Juno.
